The majority of the employees at Silicon Cert Laboratories are former employees of AT&T Microelectronics, Lucent Technologies, Agere Systems, or Bell Laboratories. As a result, quality systems are a way of life. Not only does SCL implement quality systems to obtain a certificate, we also utilize these standards as a constant reminder to meet customer requirements and continually improve. In 2009, Silicon Cert Laboratories obtained accreditation to ISO 17025:2005 “General Requirements for the Competence of Testing and Calibration Labs.” In 2007, SCL demonstrated compliance to MIL-PRF-38535 and MIL-STD-883 for DLA Land and Maritime (formerly DSCC). Both of these accomplishments were the result of rigorous audits performed by subject matter experts having detailed knowledge of the tests, equipment, and procedures. Silicon Cert Laboratories’ quality system is a thoroughly documented yet concise system which has held up to rigorous audits as performed by DNV (ISO 9001:2008), A2LA (ISO 17025:2005), and DSCC (to MIL-STD-883 test methods). As a result of the competence demonstration of our staff during these in-depth audits, you can be assured that the tests performed by Silicon Cert Laboratories are properly executed and documented.
